How Can You Participate?

YPI was launched in 2002 at one pilot school. In 2006/2007, over 120 schools offered YPI to students in Ontario and British Columbia.

The long-term vision of the Toskan Casale Foundation is to offer this program to students worldwide. Imagine having all our youth, well prepared to assist their own communities as knowledgeable, experienced volunteers and leaders.

Granting Guideline:

In order to qualify for a grant from the Toskan Casale Foundation's Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI), registered Canadian charitable organizations must be working within the social service sector. Within that sector, the project being considered must provide a direct service to the community and/or take an innovative approach to issue(s) within the community.
